Trump is much worse than Lord Voldemort: JK Rowling

Author's remarks come after the Republican presidential contender called for banning entry of all Muslims from the US

Novelist of the Harry Potter series JK Rowling has labelled Republican nominee Donald Trump “much worse” than the main antagonist of her novel series.

According to the author’s tweet, Lord Voldemort, the leader of the Death Eaters in the famous fiction series, is better than the Republican nominee.

Donald Trump calls for barring Muslims from entering US

The tweet was followed by Trump's comments about banning all Muslims from the United States.

Rowling took to Twitter to dismiss growing comparisons between him and the Harry Potter's arch-enemy.

Apparently, "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" is far better than the Republican business magnate.

All Banks were failing, AIG was bankrupt, and many more problems. He took bold decisions, pumped more money and all those banks are now profitable. AIG recovered and US government also made profits. However, Hillary has her baggage also in the e-mail servers. Importantly, it is extremely rare for any one party to come to power for the third time in USA. It has happened only twice in the history and that too a very long time ago and under very very exceptional circumstances. So, statistically Democrats have no chance. We all know that Trump is a risky choice. But he is te front runner in Republican Party. So, he will their choice and stand against Hillary. I have said all these earlier also, over a month ago, in my comments in ET.

It has been building up for a long time and muslims, particularly Pakistani muslims have not realized that this is an era of interactive internet news, cell phone videos, social media and many such things. What happens in Nigeria and Pakistan is not just read but also seen instantly everywhere in the world. My feeling is that, when it all settles down and takes a final shape, it will be that muslims of or from different countries will be seen differently. It is time for muslims belonging to countries that are moderate like India, to disassociate and keep their distance from others. It is for their own good that they are not seen and perceived as one and the same.
