Quality assurance UoE VC calls for promoting research

University of Education (UoE) Vice Chancellor Rauf-i-Azam on Monday stressed the need for implementing new quality assurance methods to achieve desired results in the education sector. He was speaking at a training workshop titled Academic Quality Assurance and Outcome Based Education, at the UoE’s Township Campus. The UoE Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) had arranged the event in connection with the World Quality Day. “There is need for developing a systematic and consistent plan to promote research and quality assurance at universities,” the vice chancellor said. PIQC Chief Executive Karman Musa was the guest speaker. QEC directors from the Punjab University, the Lahore College for Women University, the University of Engineering and Technology, the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) and the University of Management and Technology (UMT) participated in the workshop.
