FAISALABAD:
Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium rang with the revs of some of the fanciest cars in the market on Sunday. A Lamborghini Aventador and a Ferrari F430 glittered the brightest among at least 300 cars and motorcycles on display at the stadium.

The district government and PakWheels had organised the auto show. The line-up included the latest models of super sports cars and motorcycles and vintage vehicles.  DCO Noorul Amin Mengal and MPA Muhammad Nawaz Malik had inaugurated the auto show.

More than 50,000 visitors thronged the Iqbal Stadium on Sunday. Members of several large auto clubs and car enthusiasts from Lahore, Peshawar and other cities attended the event.

Many visitors were seen posing next to flashy cars taking selfies and having a good time.

PakWheels.com chairman Suneel Sarfaraz Munj said, “PakWheels tries to offer car enthusiasts a platform to share and display their passion for automobiles. We are proud to host the first auto show of this magnitude in Faisalabad.”

The auto show in Faisalabad is the sixth episode in a series of auto shows organised by PakWheels.com across the country. The online car portal has previously hosted auto shows in Peshawar, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, and Karachi.

PakWheels.com was launched in 2003. Since then, it has become the largest community-based automobile website in Pakistan.
