Hussain was supported by Nawaz Ahmed Jan, who took two wickets, while Mohammad Abbas and Irfan Elahi claimed one scalp each. Qaiser Abbas (29) and skipper Fawad Alam (26) top-scored for NBP.
KRL, who had elected to field after winning the toss, were 60-1 after 15 overs at stumps.
At the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, UBL, who had elected to bat, were dismissed on 132 runs as SNGPL’s Azizullah claimed five scalps, while Samiullah Khan and Asad Ali took two wickets apiece. Saeed Bin Nasir (36) and wicketkeeper Gulraiz Sadaf (18) were the top-scorers for UBL.

At the National Stadium of Karachi, a century by Muhammad Waqas (137) helped Karachi Whites reach 269-2 against Fata. Jaahid Ali (96) was on the crease at stumps.
At the Diamond Ground in Islamabad, Port Qasim reached 243-8 with the help of an unbeaten 57-run knock by Atif Ali Zaidi, while Muhammad Salman (55) also contributed significantly against SSGC.

Hosts Peshawar’s Taj Wali took five wickets to restrict Islamabad to 129 at the Akbar Niaz Stadium, while Nasir Ahmed claimed two scalps in his team’s cause. Afaq Raheem (38) and Sarmad Bhatti (31) top-scored for the visitors, while the hosts were 52-3 at the end of play.
In other matches at the end of play, Lahore Blues were 101-2 after dismissing hosts Hyderabad on 122, HBL were 5-2 after restricting Wapda to 212, while Lahore Whites were 113-6 against Rawalpindi.
