Citywide: Four injured in various incidents

Separately, three people were injured by armed assailants within the I-9 police jurisdiction

At least four people have been injured in different incident in various parts of Rawalpindi during the last 24 hours.


In the first, a man was shot and injured within the Naseerabad police jurisdiction. Shahrukh, a resident of Dhoke Gujran, lodged a complaint with the local police that his brother, Zaman, was shot by assailants. He  Zaman sustained a bullet wound and he was shifted to a local hospital, where doctors stated him to be stable.


Separately, three people were injured by armed assailants within the I-9 police jurisdiction.


Muhammad Zaman lodged a complaint with the police that his son, Muhammad Asim, had an altercation with Raees Safdar, Waheed Shahid and others over a dispute.


According to him, Safdar and his men got offended and in a fit of rage, opened fire with a pistol, which resulted in injuries to his son and two others who had intervened to pacify them. The assailants fled the scene.
