It was revealed earlier that Deeps was auditioning for a role in the Hollywood star's upcoming film XXX: The return of Xander Cage when she posted an image with Vin Diesel, and the XXX poster in the background:

According to Deccan Chronicle, Deepika’s manager Anirban Blah also congratulated her on Facebook saying, "Am so so proud of this girl. What an announcement... What a journey it has been!!"

Earlier, Times of India reported that the Piku actress was offered a role in Fast and Furious 7 but had turned it down due to Ram Leela.

“I don’t regret it. I had to work out things for Ram Leela here, I couldn’t have left the process mid way, I had given my commitment here first. Looking at the way the film (Ram Leela) has got response, I feel good as my hard work has paid off,” said Deepika.
Seems like Hollywood films will soon start featuring a lot more Bollywood stars!
