Muslim Americans take to Twitter to express their disgust at media's 'Islamophobia'

The home of the California shooters, who killed 14 people in a shooting spree in San Bernardino, was controversially thrown open to the media on Friday, offering a glimpse of the life of the couple behind the carnage.

Within hours of the live broadcast showing reporters going through the mass shooters', Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, belongings, Muslim Americans took to Twitter to express their disgust at media's 'Islamophobia'.

"Terrorist" cats, "seasonings of mass destruction" and "Disney-inspired infidel characters" were just some of the things in the photos that Muslims posted of their #MuslimApartments.

Pakistani-origin couple kept tight lid on plans for San Bernardino shooting

Even Pakistani musician Salman Ahmad tweeted, "Danger: Too many axes in this Muslim Apartment".
