Project concerns: ‘PPP will not support change in CPEC’

He warned the party will initiate a movement against a change in the CPEC route

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Peoples Party K-P president Khanzada Khan has said the party will not support change in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route and will protest in Senate and National Assembly if such a decision was made. The PPP president expressed these views at a meeting with party’s city president Javed Khan in Sheikh Maltoon, Mardan, a press release issued on Friday read.  Khanzada said people of K-P were facing inflation, unemployment and unrest; depriving them of the CPEC will be tantamount to enmity with the public. He warned the party will initiate a movement against a change in the CPEC route.
