US envoy: Hale presents credentials to president
Mamnoon also talked about Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism
ISLAMABAD:
Ambassador-designate of the United States to Pakistan, David M Hale presented his credentials to President Mamnoon Hussain at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday. Later, the ambassador called on the president and matters of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting. The president felicitated the newly appointed ambassador to Pakistan and hoped that he would work for further cementing the existing ties between Pakistan and the US. Mamnoon also talked about Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism. Pakistan was cooperating with the international community to end this menace and to have peace in the region, he said.
