Relief for schools: NDMA provides over 1,800 tents

A number of these shelters were also handed over to the political administration of Bajaur Agency in Fata

PESHAWAR: As part of continuing relief efforts after the October 26 earthquake, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) provided 1,875 tents for affected schools in K-P and the Federally Administered Tribal Area (Fata) on Thursday. The tents were sent to areas in Malakand Division such as Chitral, Shangla, Buner, Swat, Lower Dir and Upper Dir. A number of these shelters were also handed over to the political administration of Bajaur Agency in Fata. In addition, hundreds of tents were handed over to the local administration in Hazara Division for Torghar and Dassu districts.
