The investigator forwarded the challan before the Sindh High Court's Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto, stating that the suspect, identified as Arif Marwat, was trained by the Indian spy agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
Marwat was arrested a month ago in a raid conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Department and explosives substances were seized from him.
According to the police, the suspect remained in India for around seven years, during which he received militant training by RAW. He is involved in terror activities in the city for which he received funding from the spy agency, the police added.
The judge accepted the challan and adjourned the hearing till the case is sent to an ATC for trial.
The suspect has been booked under section 4 and 5 of the Explosives Substances Act.
