Handicraft development: Road map in the offing
National Consultative Conference of all stakeholders would be held next month
RAWALPINDI:
The Executive Committee of the Pakistan Handicrafts Association (HAP) has decided to finalise a road map of its calendar activities, aimed to promote the handicraft-based on cultural heritage of Pakistan by organising various national and international events. According to an official handout, the decision to this effect was unanimously adopted in the Executive Committee meeting held under the chairmanship of HAP President Khurshid Barlas. While giving a brief resume of forthcoming plan of activities, Barlas said that after detailed deliberations with experts and all concerned, it has been decided that a National Consultative Conference of all stakeholders would be held next month to finalise a National Plan of Action of HAP activities to highlight and promote handicrafts of Pakistan.
