Apex committee to meet today

The committee will mainly review the implementation of the national action plan

After the attack on Military Police in Karachi on Tuesday, an apex committee meeting will be convened at CM House on Wednesday. 


Chief minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan, Corps Commander Karachi, Lt General Naveed Mukhtar, DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar, Home Minister, IG, Chief Secretary, Home Secretary and officials of police and intelligence agencies will attend the meeting.


The committee will mainly review the implementation of the national action plan and discuss the law and order situation in the wake of the attack. Earlier, two Army personnel embraced Shahadat in a firing incident in Karachi’s Tibet Centre area on Tuesday when two unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire on their jeep.
