Reham used me 'like toilet paper to clean up her image': former husband
London-based psychiatrist Dr Rehman, who married Reham on 23 July 1992 and divorced her in July 2007, stated that his ex-wife’s media interviews resulted in an economic loss to him as he lost his employment as a direct consequence. Further, he said he had been forced to answer questions of his relatives, colleagues and other people because of her statements against him.
Reham levelled baseless allegations and passed defamatory remarks against her ex-husband in different interviews, Dr Rehman’s councel Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri said.

The notice directed the broadcast journalist to meet the demands within 14 days.
Jahangiri warned if Reham failed to comply with the notice, he had instructions from his client to take her to courts of civil and criminal jurisdictions at her own risk with cost and consequences.
Earlier in her interviews following her marriage to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan, Reham had alleged she had been a victim of domestic violence during her marriage to the 54-year-old psychiatrist with whom she has three children.
However, talking exclusively to The Express Tribune, Rehman rubbished Reham’s claims point by point.

Further, in an interview to Daily Mail, Dr Rehman had said Reham used him “like toilet paper to clean up her image” after she found herself harshly criticised by traditionalists in Pakistan who saw Imran’s bride as far too Westernised.
