The entire Muslim community is being targeted after the Paris attacks
RAWALPINDI: This is with reference to the article “The West must learn from failed attempts” published on November 27 in your paper. I completely agree with the stance of the writer and want to add that once again Islamophobia is in full bloom in the West. The entire Muslim community is being targeted after the Paris attacks. The French government is out for revenge against the Islamic State (IS) and is bombing its hideouts in Syria. It needs to understand that the IS will continue to exist despite these strikes.
Investing trillions of dollars in the war against terror has not seen the demise of the TTP and al Qaeda. The French government needs to realise that the solution does not lie in initiating a new war.
