It is time for individuals to take the right action towards saving the world from major environmental problems
FAISLABAD: There are many important threats to our environment. More than half of the human population is aware of what pollution is, but we are ill-prepared to face its damaging consequences. It is time for individuals to take the right action towards saving the world from major environmental problems. If neglected, the adverse effects of these are sure to impact life on earth negatively.
Global warming, overpopulation and deforestation, which can cause floods, are on the rise throughout the world. Despite efforts taken by governments, it is very difficult to control overpopulation. Other issues relating to our environment are ozone layer depletion, acid rain, industrial and household waste and urban sprawl. We have to fulfil our responsibilities when it comes to controlling environmental problems so that we and our future generations can enjoy a healthy future on the planet.
