How are the killings owing to barbarity and bigotry merely ‘unfortunate’ in the eyes of Indian premier
KARACHI: The Indian prime minister has stated that the murder of a Muslim man over alleged consumption of beef is ‘unfortunate’. If someone dies in a natural calamity, that can be termed unfortunate. But what about those innocent people who have been killed because of the perpetrators’ barbarity and bigotry? How is that merely ‘unfortunate’?
What is unfortunate is the ideology of this right-wing Indian government and the prejudice and intolerance of the Shiv Sena and the RSS. This is fascism at its best.
