I would like to ask the writer if he has any idea what it is to live as an overweight girl in Pakistan.
ISLAMABAD: This is with reference to Sami Shah’s article of December 30 titled “The year to offend”. I was disappointed to read the piece and would like to ask the writer if he has any idea what it is to live as an overweight girl in Pakistan.
Going by what has been written, it would be fair to say that the writer has no idea and doesn’t understand the unwanted snide comments — which come disguised as advice on a daily basis — that are made against overweight people.
