Out of nine seats for JSTs in three different schools of Sindh, only the top two candidates were chosen
HYDERABAD: I had appeared in the test for Junior School Teacher (JST) BPS-14, conducted by the National Testing Service in September 2013. I secured second position in this test along with two other candidates — all scoring 76 marks each. The Reform Support Unit had uploaded vacancy lists of schools before the commencement of the test, which showed nine seats for JSTs in three different schools of Sindh. However, at the time of receiving the offer letters, only the top two candidates were chosen for these positions.
We later came to know that the other seats had already been filled in 2012 by people who never appeared in the test conducted for JSTs. Who is responsible for this injustice against deserving candidates? We, the deserving candidates, request the higher authorities to inquire into this malpractice in the education sector and provide justice to the candidates.
