KARACHI: A children’s play area in North Nazimabad, Karachi, has been converted into a garbage dumping ground in preparation for Eid. In years past, the people of this area developed illnesses as a result of the waste that is generated while slaughtering sacrificial animals. A disgusting stench permeates the whole area.

I request the authorities concerned to investigate the corrupt elements that is responsible for converting a children’s park into a garbage dump, instead of taking proper measures to dispose of waste.
