The administration must blacklist developers and contractors who aren’t interested in the timely completion of project
KARACHI: The people of Malir, Karachi, are facing problems due to the ongoing construction on the Malir 15 flyover. The expected time for project completion was announced to be December 2014. The end, however, is nowhere in sight as the project has seen a number of delays due to shortage of funds. This work has caused numerous traffic problems for people of the area.
People do not prefer driving over broken parts of the road, nor is it safe to do so. As they proceed through the area slowly, swerving to the side, traffic jams occur. The administration must blacklist developers and contractors who aren’t interested in the timely completion of projects.
