FAISALABAD: The news of two teenage, school-going students involved in a suicide-murder incident hit the country like a forest fire. Differing opinions immediately rolled down social media platforms in which some say the tragedy was an effect of media entertainment from across the border, namely the movie industry that provoked these two young students to take such extreme step.
Blaming others for the mishaps that occur on our own soil has never been and never will be the solution to our problems. One main factor that seems to be the cause of this mindset of teens is the negligence by some parents. They have no time for their children and when their children look for someone to talk to, they remain aloof. No matter how this whole mess was created, we should now seriously think about our future generations and work towards the betterment of their mental well-being.
