Education and private schools

Letter September 07, 2015
We need to develop private schools monitoring system, as the private education sector seems to be slipping out of hand

PESHAWAR: Pakistan’s education system needs a change. Since the majority of government sector schools are not delivering, many people opt for private schools, even if it means paying more, because they feel that their children will benefit from it. Low-cost private education is needed for the public as private schools nowadays charge heavy fees along with additional security costs. We need to develop a private schools monitoring system, as the private education sector seems to be slipping out of hand.
