What we clearly need is a massive reform of the mindset and attitude of those in the police force.
FAIRFIELD, CT, US: This is with reference to your report of residents of some parts of Karachi protesting against the alleged gang-rape of a young women. May I say that police exists only to feed off the public on a daily basis. And the other thing that they do is to fight the general public and to defend the corrupt — usually government functionaries, or their own. This is exactly what the police used to do during the time of British rule in undivided India.
What we clearly need is a massive reform of the mindset and attitude of those in the police force.
