I strongly feel this is the only way to bring down rape cases in Third World countries.
BANGALORE: I felt Nadir Hassan’s article was well-written and rape is, indeed, a very vicious and often well-planned crime. I feel we need to discuss in detail whether the death penalty can be introduced as punishment for this crime. I strongly feel this is the only way to bring down rape cases in Third World countries.
I also want to put this question out there: Can the public file a case of incompetence against officials who act callously towards victims of rape, or those who blame rape on the victims’ lack of morals, and ask for the dismissal of their services?
