It acts as a symbol to understand the enormous devastation that nuclear weapons are capable of causing

LAHORE: August 6 and 9 marked the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This event establishes itself as a reminder of a time when human knowledge led to the elimination of countless lives. The atom bomb not only eliminated life, it also has had a prolonged effect on the health of the affected populations over many years. It acts as a symbol to understand the enormous devastation that nuclear weapons are capable of causing.
