Protesting against injustice

Letter August 07, 2015
If we continue to stand against injustice, especially in a united manner, there is hope for our country

RAWALPINDI: After witnessing an act of injustice, if there is resistance against it, one’s faith gets restored in humanity — in believing that yes, we are concerned about our fellow human beings. Such emotions are felt amid widespread condemnation from the entire society regarding various injustices.

However, it was discouraging to notice that excluding one political party, the Awami Workers Party, no other party has publicly condemned certain acts of aggression and injustice. Nonetheless, if we continue to stand against injustice, especially in a united manner, there is hope for our country and for humanity at large.
