Banning toy guns

Letter July 24, 2015
I want to request the federal government to take the same action countrywide for the betterment of our society

TURBAT: The recent ban on the sale of toy guns, such as imitation Kalashnikovs, is a praiseworthy step that the Afghanistan government has taken for the safety of its people and the betterment of its new generation. The Afghan government seems to be trying its level best to eliminate the culture of toy guns, which can eventually lead children towards violence. Ultimately, children could grow up to possess real guns and destroy innocent lives and families.

Through this initiative, the Afghan government has displayed genuine care and concern for the safety and wellbeing of its people. A similar initiative in Pakistan by provincial governments is welcome. I want to request the federal government to take the same action countrywide for the betterment of our society.
