To live a purposeful life, one simply has to follow humanity. Serving the poor in society is akin to serving God.
ANDHRA PRADESH, INDIA: I am a regular reader of The Express Tribune. Reading various headlines in the media of late, it is evident that Islamic State fighters are becoming a major threat to world peace due to their inhuman activities. The purpose of religion is to show a good path to humans so they can lead a meaningful life. However, since ages, in the name of many religions, heinous acts have been committed across the world. Showing respect towards one’s own faith can be treated as a natural tendency, but showing cruelty against people of other faiths and making innocents suffer is not pardonable.
Killing of innocents in the name of religion is uncalled for. To live a purposeful life, one simply has to follow humanity. Serving the poor in society is akin to serving God.
