At least in the month of Ramazan, the government should pay more attention to the care of its people
TURBAT: Sometimes it is difficult to believe that Pakistan is an Islamic country. Of all the months, it is the holy month of Ramazan in which inflation seems to be at its peak and the government despite being aware of the people’s hardships has done little to alleviate their suffering.
It is the task of a government to support its public, to care for it, and to solve its problems. So, at least in the month of Ramazan, the government should pay more attention to the care of its people. I hope our law-makers and the finance minister, specifically, pay attention to the common people’s well-being in the holy month.
