LAHORE: The leaderships of all political parties have finally warded off their dissenting views on the mega project of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and have given the green signal to the project. The government assured the leaders that final proposals of affiliated projects, along with the trade corridor route, will be made in consensus with the related provincial governments. All provincial governments are invited to point out potential industrial sites on the route which can be developed to make the project more beneficial for related areas.
The western alignment of the route, which links Gwadar with Khunjerab, has been approved; this will address the concerns of two provinces — Balochistan and K-P. It is hoped that this project will usher in a promisingly developed Pakistan and a welfare society with a strong economy providing all civic amenities to the citizens of this beloved land.
