New Delhi has multiple standards of morality.
KARACHI: With reference to Angela Merkel’s remarks in India on Pakistan, let’s just say that New Delhi has multiple standards of morality. One of India’s refrain is: “O me, misery me, Pakistan has smitten me.” Another is: “Mummy, mummy… see Pakistan has teased me by calling me a spoilt brat.” And the West mollycoddles the Indians and lets them cry on their lap.
David Cameron set the tone and was followed closely by Nicholas Sarkozy and now Angela Merkel. I would like to thank the Chinese prime minister who has honoured us and will spend three days in our beautiful country.
