KARACHI: The recent clashes in Daska created an alarming situation for not only the government, but for all concerned, including the public. Lawyers are a symbol of justice and the police are a symbol of law and order. When both fight each other, it is not a good sign for our country.
Along with political reasons, social problems, a lack of ethics and the economic crisis are all reasons for such tensions, and must not be overlooked. We must accept that there are frustrations in our society that are not to be taken lightly by anyone and must be addressed.
