Cricket happenings (II)

Letter May 26, 2015
I have observed that the Indian public is not interested in an India-Pakistan series.

DUBAI: I would request the Pakistan Cricket Board, particularly Shahryar Khan, not to beg the BCCI to resume bilateral cricketing relations. We, as an independent nation, should conduct ourselves with dignity.

I have observed that the Indian public is not interested in an India-Pakistan series. Similarly, the Indian government will also not approve a revival of bilateral cricketing ties. We have made some headway by inviting Zimbabwe, so let us build on this achievement with patience and wait for other teams to visit our country.
