The government needs to make Pakistan a more secure country to ensure tourists start visiting the country again
KARACHI: Travelling has great educational value. It breaks the monotony of life and gives one exposure to various peoples, cultures and places. Travelling and tourism have become popular leisure activities all over the globe. Tourism also brings large amounts of income to the local economy
Pakistan is located in a part of the subcontinent that has rich culture and traditions. It is gifted with mountains, lakes, rivers, ocean, forests, ancient monuments, valleys and fertile plains. Tourism has the potential of becoming the backbone of the national economy but the present disorder and chaos in our country have badly affected this sector. Pakistan has become an unsafe place due to ongoing terrorist attacks. This is causing the tourism industry to decline all the while damaging Pakistan’s reputation in the world. The tourism industry needs special steps to be taken for its betterment because it can contribute substantially towards the development of our economy. The government needs to make Pakistan a more secure country to ensure foreign and local tourists start visiting the country again.
