If the “listening generals” want, they can give the Americans a military victory before 2014.
GURGAON, INDIA: This is with reference to Shahzad Chaudhry’s article “The Petraeus effect” (December 11). The fact is that it takes two to tango and more importantly it takes two to fight. If the “listening generals” on the other side of the Durand Line want, they can easily unravel the American general’s plan by giving the Americans a military victory much before 2014.
With the military victory in hand the Americans will depart soon and would not be around to spread ‘neighbourly love’ anymore.
