KARACHI: With reference to the fake WikiLeaks cables, I don’t understand why our ‘intelligence’ agencies do all of this. It just goes to show the extreme disrespect they hold for the Pakistani public in general because surely this deception would have been detected sooner or later. The fact of the matter is that while the media didn’t catch it at first, when it did, it apologised, albeit the whole incident has proved to be very embarrassing for the country.
