Natural disasters can never be prevented, but they can be properly dealt with to reduce impact
KARACHI: The Nepalese were already devastated by the earthquake that hit their country two weeks ago. The more recent disaster on May 12 intensified their suffering. The emotional and psychological effects of a natural calamity are very severe.
I feel sorry for the sufferers. Natural disasters can never be prevented, but they can be properly dealt with to reduce impact. May God give the Nepalese strength and courage to overcome this misery.
