KARACHI: After a few days of the killing of Sabeen Mahmud on April 29, Professor Waheedur Rehman, alias Yasir Rizvi, fell another victim of targeted killing.
Teachers and students burst into tears when the news broke, for each one of us knew that we had lost another valuable life, a dedicated teacher and an accomplished journalist. Unfortunately, we have forgotten the value of life; people are brutally killed every day in Karachi — for how long will this go on and where will it end?
