Sarkozy in Mumbai

Letter December 09, 2010
Pakistan should snap diplomatic relations with France by calling back the Pakistani ambassador from France.

RAWALPINDI: I write with reference to your report of December 8, “Sarkozy slams Pakistan as he marks Mumbai attacks”. I would call the French president’s remarks an insult to all Pakistanis. Pakistani soldiers have laid down their lives fighting terrorists to make life easier for the western forces in Afghanistan.

Pakistan should snap diplomatic relations with France by calling back the Pakistani ambassador from France and asking the French ambassador to Pakistan to leave. Nothing short of an unconditional apology by the French is good enough.
