Neglecting schools

Letter April 04, 2015
There are a total of three rooms to accommodate 300 students enrolled in Government Boys Elementary School, Gakhar

ATTOCK: Government Boys Elementary School in Gakhar in Tehsil Fateh Jang of Attock district was built in 1921 and upgraded to the secondary level in 2006. However, there are no rooms available for students to study in this school. There are a total of three rooms which are insufficient to accommodate 300 students who are enrolled in this school. They are forced to sit outdoors and study without any roof.

I request the Punjab chief minister, the district education officer and other authorities concerned to release funds immediately for the construction of a sufficient number of rooms at this school.
