The rise in prices has worried everyone
KARACHI: Once again, another bombshell has been dropped on Pakistani citizens with the government announcing on March 31 an increase in the prices of petroleum products, including the price of high speed diesel, with effect from April 1.
The rise in prices has worried everyone. As soon as it was announced, a number of petrol pumps stopped their supply and refused to provide petrol so that they could earn more money later and due to this people faced a number of problems. The government needs to realise that it is not just the increase in petroleum prices that is bothering citizens. It is also the resultant inconvenience that these price hikes lead to in public life.
