RAWALPINDI: Farahnaz Ispahani’s article will find many detractors but I would like to ask them one simple question: President Asif Ali Zardari spent several years behind bars but was anything proven against him?
The then government, the establishment and other anti-PPP elements would have liked to see him convicted but this could not happen. And may I point out that in recent days, we have seen evidence that cases against the president were politically motivated.
