KARACHI: This is with reference to a news item in your edition of November 29 titled "Abida Parveen's condition stable after cardiac arrest". May I point out that the famous singer must have suffered a heart attack for which she has been treated and her condition is said to be stable. This is not the same as cardiac arrest because the latter means that the heart stops beating and this is normally fatal.
