Robbery and murder

Letter February 02, 2015
I request the authorities concerned to launch comprehensive investigations into Ramzan Mandhro's case

BADIN: Some 23 days ago, a trader, Abdul Shakoor, lost his life on Gharibabad Kadhan Road in Badin at the hands of three robbers, who were trying to snatch cash from him. During this incident, a person called Ramzan Mandhro was injured and hospitalised in Jinnah Hospital, Karachi. A local traders association called a strike in Badin to protest against the incident. In this day and age, robbers routinely kill people and rob them of cash and valuables, and the victims or their families are unable to do anything to secure themselves. FIRs may be lodged and complaints may be made to local authorities, but the robbery mafia is so strong that little can be done to fight it.

I request the authorities concerned to launch comprehensive investigations into this case, and make an example of the culprits.
