Unity, faith and discipline

Letter November 29, 2010
The Quaid used the word ‘unity’ first and then ‘faith’.

KARACHI: This is with reference to Anwar Mooraj’s article of November 25 titled “Faith, Unity and Discipline”. From what I can remember from my days from school and college, I was taught that the motto of the Father of the Nation was “Unity, Faith and Discipline”. The Quaid used the word ‘unity’ first and then ‘faith’. So the engraver, as the writer mentioned, made no mistake when he wrote the correct version of the Quaid’s motto on Karachi’s well-known Teen Talwar landmark.
