ISLAMABAD: This is with reference to Amina Jilani’s article of November 27 titled “The wages of exploitation”. Her piece is hard-hitting and to the point. The stance of the clerics on the Aasia Bibi case has little to do with religion and everything to do with greed for power and to hold and further the position they have acquired in the country due to the self-serving policies of both our dictators and civilian rulers. If — and this is a very big if — the PPP calls their bluff and proceeds to do the right thing as wished by the majority, they will be remembered for this one act of doing good.
