Criminals implicated in this crime must be tried in a speedy manner and on a priority basis
KARACHI: The report in your newspaper of a five-year-old boy’s sexual assault and murder in Lahore is very alarming. In this regard, the order of the chief minister of Punjab for the arrest of the culprits is just not enough.
What kind of message is being put across here: that brutal acts can easily be carried out at places of worship in Pakistan? Criminals implicated in this crime must be tried in a speedy manner and on a priority basis. Citizens and law-enforcement agencies must take preventive measures to stop crimes that target our children in such a brutal manner.
