As Muslims we are forbidden from speaking ill of any of the Prophets of the other revealed religions.
KARACHI: This is with reference to Fasi Zaka’s article of November 23 titled “The one man who can save Aasia Bibi”.
Mr Zaka has written a good article in that he has highlighted the fallacy in the arguments of those who support such punishment for Aasia Bibi. The fact of the matter is that Islam is a liberal religion but has been, because of our actions, portrayed as biased and myopic. What is presented to the rest of the world is certainly not what our Holy Prophet (pbuh) taught his followers.
In fact ,as Muslims we are forbidden from speaking ill of any of the Prophets of the other revealed religions. We need scholars like Javed Ahmed Ghamidi and Dr Khalid Zaheer who are enlightened, moderate and persuasive.
