KARACHI: This is with reference to your editorial of November 20 titled “Pakistan’s ranking in terrorism”.
The editorial is based on a survey by a British firm by the name of Maplecroft. Perhaps, it needs to be asked also about its findings regarding the nature of terrorism in Pakistan, especially with reference to who are the actors behind it. Who is sending agents to Afghanistan and to south Punjab who then join hands with members of banned outfits? It should also provide answers to questions like who is providing the militants arms and the funding to carry on their activities inside Pakistan.
